Standard subtractive synthesis is great, but things only get exciting when oscillators start attacking each other. CrossMod is built around the ferocious, unpredictable art of cross-modulation.
CrossMod Polyphonic Matrix & Dynamic Envelopes
With two heavy-duty analog-modeled oscillators per voice, CrossMod lets you route Oscillator 1 into the frequency, phase, and pulse-width of Oscillator 2—while simultaneously routing Oscillator 2 back into Oscillator 1. Turn a knob, and pure sub-bass melodies twist into metallic bell screams, alien guttural growls, and tearing industrial pads.
Highlights
- Bidirectional Modulation Matrix: FM, PM, Hard Sync, and Ring Modulation happening at audio rate.
- State-Variable Dual Filters: Low-pass, high-pass, and notch with self-oscillating resonance.
- Analog Drift Engine: Per-voice temperature fluctuation and unquantized micro-detuning.
- CLAP & VST3: Full polyphonic aftertouch (MPE) and per-note pitch expression.
