This WordPress plugin provides an easy way to get the current status of a
SHOUTcast server and integrate it into a WordPress blog.

== Description ==

This WordPress plugin provides an easy way to get the current status of a
SHOUTcast server and integrate it into a WordPress blog. It detects the
currently playing song and provides links to listen to the SHOUTcast stream on
Winamp, iTunes, or Windows Media Player.

== Installation ==

1. First, you must install the WordPress Sidebar Widgets plugin found here:

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widgets/

2. Next, you must extract all files from the archive and move them directly under
   the following folder, overwriting any existing files from previous versions:
   
   wp-content/plugins/sc_widget

3. Finally, activate the plugin from the WordPress plugins page. You can then
   drag the SHOUTcast widget into the sidebar. From the widget configuration menu
   you must supply the URL to the SHOUTcast stream. The URL should be in the
   form:

   http://servername:portnumber

   You can customize the HTML displayed by editing the files sc_running.htm and
   sc_down.htm.
